Salaam alaikum,

Okay, I have to bring two big paintings and some smaller paintings to the ISNA exhibit. Should I bring this one or should I just bring calligraphy pieces. I did want to a painting on the Taj Mahal after seeing this cool documentary on the History Channel but I may not have enough time bewteen now and Labor Day weekend.

Here are small of the small works that I will bring…

Bismillah, La Howla Wa Laa Quwatta Illa Billah, and some others once I sit down and actually make them.  :-)

Oh, wait, maybe I should bring some boxes? My suitcase’s going to be heavy.

This one is beautiful masha’Allah! I also applied for the exhibit, but they didn’t have any room for me. :-( Oh, well. I look forward to seeing you and your work there! Will you be flying with all those paintings?

Musical Chef: Thank you. Hey did you apply for art show or film show? I’m sorry you didn’t get in but I do hope to see you. Yeah, I’ll probably bring about 2 medium ones and 2 small ones so it shouldn’t be too bad. :-)

    Me2: jazak Allah khairn. :-)

Careful about your packing… it’s a bit of a pain to fly these days, and there are pretty strict limits on the weight of any checked-in baggage. Try to identify those limits beforehand, so you don’t have to repack things and leave things at the airport.
